The black tuxedo which he wore looked very stunning. It was perfect. He took a pair of black shoes from the box and wore them. Surprisingly, it was comfortable and fitted his foot perfectly. How did he choose all of these goods? Armani. Matsumoto Jun was not a fan of it but it is a quite expensive brand. On top of that, He didn’t even know how the hell did his boyfriend know his shoe size or even his body size?
The simple and small card was left on top of the hotel’s bed. It was him. He opened the card and read;
7 PM, JE Café. Third floor.
See you tonight.

It was his first time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel looked very luxurious. Ah, He wanted to go to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. But that was not the reason why he was in Dubai. It was because of him. He was surprised that his boyfriend sent a business class ticket exclusively for him. Rich CEO, what do you expect? Unlike him, who came from a middle class family.
He had not seen his boyfriend since forever. The black tuxedo and black shoes were from the package that lied on top of his bedroom wrapped with embossed velvet. Everything was perfect. He was glad to have him as his boyfriend—soon-to-be-a-fianceé maybe. However, he didn’t need Sho’s money. Money was not reason why he loves him dearly. The present was actually too much for a guy like Matsumoto Jun.
It was still 6.30 PM. He had thirty minutes left before He met him. God, time went by really fast. He didn’t expect to see Sho in Dubai. He wondered; Why Dubai? Why now? He could have asked him beforehand.
Fifteen minutes had passed. He looked the mirror, checking if his face was okay. He didn’t do sleep much, a little jet lag after an exhausted flight. He was quite worried on what kind of blunt comment that his boyfriend will give when he saw Jun’s face. But will it matter? Probably not. Jun applied some of his cologne to his wrists and neck.
As he was ready to go, he put his hotel card inside his pocket and went outside the room. The lift was near to his room. Less than five minutes, the lift door opened. No one was there. He pressed the third floor button—the main lobby.
As he arrived at the third floor, He didn’t see any sign of his boyfriend. Then, he looked at his phone’s clock. Still 6.50 PM. Sakurai is a very punctual person as he is a CEO. He would come on time. Not too late, not too early. Sharp.
Dang dang. The clock in the main lobby made some noises, indicating it was already 7 PM. But as what he expected, he could see Sakurai Sho outside the hotel. He appeared in his black tuxedo. Handsome, as always. He noticed that he dyed his hair into brown but he still looked attractive in his eyes. Maybe only in his eyes. Without thinking twice, he went towards him. He was alone, without any bodyguard behind him. As he stood in front of Jun, he didn’t hesitate but hugged him tightly. The hug didn’t last a minute.
“Jun,” he spoke up, “You look gorgeous as always.”
“Sho-san, you are indeed a jerk.”
Sakurai leaned and whispered to his right ear. He could feel his breath tickling Jun’s auricle. “I know.”
He smiled as he cupped Jun’s cheeks and his thumb brushed his smooth cheeks softly. He pressed his lips against Jun’s. It didn’t matter for him. He didn’t care about their surroundings that were a little bit shock with the couple making a lovey-dovey scene. For goodness’ sake, Sakurai missed him too. Jun wouldn’t even need to ask him about that. A simple kiss explained everything.
He broke the kiss and smiled. He missed his lips. No, he missed everything. His laugh, loud voice, smile, conversation, diva personality of his. Basically, everything. A year without Matsumoto Jun was a hell for him.
“I thought you are going home to Tokyo this week. Why am I suppose to be the one who visit you in Dubai?”
“Still have work to do, honey,” he said while pinching his cheek softly.
“You’re not cheating on me, are you?” Jun pouted.
“Definitely not going to buy you a ticket to Dubai if I cheat on you, Matsumoto,” he smirked, “If you don’t believe me, then I think I should move your flight schedule and tell you to go home right now. I don’t mind marrying an Emirati instead.“
“Sho-san! Don’t be such a meanie! I’m just joking anyway,” he giggled.
He looked the same. Sakurai Sho. The man who will always be in his heart. He knew that tonight would be the day and He wanted to cherish this. Jun knew that his stay in Dubai will only be temporary but he could wait. Yes, as long as it is Sakurai Sho, he could wait.
“Shall we?”
He nodded. They went inside the JE café. A jazz song being played inside the café could be heard by them. He never heard of the café before—actually, he didn’t search about it too. But He trusted him. Tonight will be the best night, He thought. Both of them knew it would be the best night. It was such a long time they met each other and there were a lot of things that they both wanted to share with each other.
“Good evening, sir. How may I help you?” The waiter in the counter asked.
He glanced at Jun and answered, “A table for two, please.”
end.
How are you? Right now, Ohno-san is here with me. We went to Okinawa together and it was fun. We bought a lot of things there. I wish you were here and watch the sunset with us. Oh, Aiba said hi.

How is everything there? I just moved into a new apartment and Nino helped me too—surprisingly. He said he was bored anyway. My new place is way better and I got a good price too. I just hope that I could clean the apartment in a day.

If you're wondering about my work. I'm doing well. The head chef praised the recipe that I made and I'm glad that the customers loved them. I didn't expect that would happen but I'm really happy. How about you, Sho-san? How is work?

It's winter. I hope you're okay and please take care of your health, Sho-san. I hope I could see you this Christmas or new year but I know you're busy with your work. Where are you right now? How is work?

Sho-san, you read my messages. I feel like writing a diary here.

If you are reading these then why aren’t you replying?
Sho
I'm reading.

interesting that when I was reading Jun's rant about Sho's absence I wasn't that moved because, well, he was at Dubai, like a big shot, and about to be engaged!
also, your description about how they feel about each other showed a great passion. that put me at easy.
but then, you showed Jun's messages... that sounded so lonely.... and yet so beautiful, with a life with realizations and friends... and an away boyfriend that is reading....
